Dealing With Facial Hair

So it is definitely not a topic that women are fond of talking about, but facial hair is a problem that the majority of ladies will deal with at least once in their lifetime.

Whether you have just noticed facial hair as a result of weight gain, pregnancy, or as a side effect of surgery or for any other reason, of course you are going to want to deal with it right away.

Before we talk about anything here you need to know that you should NEVER shave the hair on your face. No matter how small an area you are planning to shave, just don't do it.

Although it is believed that the hair will in fact not come back darker and thicker and that this is just a myth, the truth is that it will come back as stubble which is rough and much more noticeable than fine strands of hair.

Even if you are in a rush or whatever other excuse you have, do not ever shave your face.

Okay, now moving on to what you can do to get rid of that unwanted hair on your face.

Waxing is the most common facial hair removal method, because it is quick, easy, and has such long lasting results.

You can take it into your own hands and buy an at home waxing system, or you can head into a salon and pay someone to do the dirty work for you.

You may find - especially if you have sensitive skin as I do - that right after waxing your skin is a bit red and irritated, but this will go away so don't worry.

Of course there is always the option of laser hair removal. Although not a major cosmetic procedure in any regards, you still only want to use this as a last resort, because there are certain risks and complications, just as with any other procedure.

As long as you choose the right facility and find a qualified, board-certified doctor to perform the procedure, everything should go through smoothly.
