Give Your Nails a Shot of Purple

This season it is all about giving your nails a shot of color, with purple as the reigning color of choice.

You should never think that there is only one choice for purple nail polish, as there is actually quite a variety to choose from.

Just compare these two nail enamels, two of my favorites, the R U Play Fast Nail Polish by Rimmel, and the Le Vernis Violet Nail Color by Chanel, both available now through LouLou Shopping.

Purple is used as a neutral this season, as it goes with pretty much any color ensemble as long as you choose the right shade.

The richer the color the better, and the best tip if you are doing your own nails is to apply a thin coat, allow to dry, then apply another coat. You want to finish this off with a thin layer of clear nail polish to add sheen.
