How to Put Velcro Rollers in Hair

If you want to get lots of body and volume in your hair, there is a very quick and effective way of doing it.

All you will need is a comb, hairspray, hair dryer, and about eight large Velcro rollers.

To start, you want to wash and condition hair as normal, and allow it to air dry. You want your hair to be just damp for the best results.

Part your hair as you normally would, because you want to avoid brushing your hair afterwards so make sure that you have a good part in where you want it before you start putting in the rollers.

To put in the rollers it is best to start at the back of the head and work your way forward, and you want to take rectangular sections of hair that are as wide as the roller, sectioning them off using a comb.

Hair clips will be very useful here as they will keep all the loose hair away from the section that you are working on.

Hold the section out that you are readying, and then place a roller at the ends of the hair and use both your hands to roll the hair onto the roller up to the root.

With Velcro hair rollers you generally do not need to worry about securing them with anything as they will stick to the hair shaft, but just to be safe you can use a couple of bobby pins, to ensure a tight hold.

You want to repeat this process through your hair until there is no loose hair left, and then let your hair dry completely.

If you are in a hurry or want an extra boost of volume, you can blow dry your hair and then blast a cool shot of air all over the hair before taking out the rollers.

This is a quick, simple way to get gorgeous, natural looking body in flat, dull hair, and once you do it a couple of times you will really get the hang of it and it will be a breeze.

A great tip is to flip your head upside down and spray your hair with hairspray for a more tousled look, or separate sections of volumized hair with your fingertips.
