Intensify Your Eye Color

There are some great makeup tips and tricks that you can use to intensify your eye color.

You can make your eyes really dazzle if you dress them up in the right colors, and understand which makeup tones are going to be most complimentary.

Blue Eyes

Blue eyes can be really dramatic if you use the right cosmetic colors.

Try using eyeshadows in fleshy pink, brown pink, peachy-pink, light dusty blues, turquoise washes, and blacks, to make those baby blues stand out.

Blue eyes are certainly the most versatile as the most colors will compliment them, but these are the tones you want to stick with if you really want some drama.

Brown Eyes

If you have brown eyes, you want to try darker eyeliner colors, such as chocolate browns, blacks, and navy blues, to make those brown eyes sizzle.

You can also use paler or medium versions of burgundy, eggplant, and grey-brown as eyeshadows, but remember that you always want your eyeliner to be at least a shade or two darker than your shadow.

If you have brown eyes and olive skin you should avoid using taupes and yellow-browns because they will make you look sallow.

Green/Hazel Eyes

For green and hazel eyes you need to be a bit more careful with which colors you choose.

The best colors will be peaches, light pinks, muted pinks, mauves, bronze-greens, and any green that is mixed with gold if you want your hazel eyes to look greener.

Make sure that you stay away from greens that are not subtle, because if you try to make your green eyes look better and brighter by using vivid greens you will actually be reversing the effect.

These quick, easy tips will help you intensify your eyes and have you catching gazes from across the crowded room at that next party.
