The Boyfriend Jeans

We are starting to see them everywhere, from Katie Holmes walking to the set of her Broadway show to Kate Hudson for her appearance on Ellen.

This is an old-come-new-again denim style that has quickly made a comeback and which is now pretty much in full swing again.

Even celebs like Reese Witherspoon, Rachel Bilson and Victoria Beckham have been spotted sporting the boyfriend jeans look, which basically is defined as being a pair of jeans that looks as though they could be - or even actually are - your boyfriend's jeans.

They are baggy and loose fitting on the legs, and often rolled up a bit at the bottoms.

Several jeans companies have gotten in on this trend, including Diesel who has introduced two new pairs of boyfriend jeans that have slouchy waists and roomy crotches but a slim tapered leg.

For the most part however, women are not too interested with this trend, and are passing on it.

I am not keen on the boyfriend jean look myself, but think it does work well on certain people.

In Katie Holmes' defense, I think the girl is gorgeous but she is just not carrying the look off right.

Reese on the other hand wears it well with a casual tee and pretty necklace and flats.
