Top Beauty Trend for Winter 2008: Architecture

This winter season you are going to want to focus on subtle drama and architectural looks in your makeup.

Rather than going all out with color, you want to work with the belief that less is more, and focus mainly on the structure of your makeup.

Highlighting is important but you want to take the first step which is getting polished, healthy looking skin, and start from here.

Think sexy, innocent and naked, and keep your face nude, but for some shots of color here and there.

For instance you may want to have a nude lip with light blush but then a dramatic smoky eye. Mix it up and have fun, but you want to keep it very simple for winter this year.

A great tip is to subtley bump up the natural color of your lips by using a soft pink lipstick or tinted balm.
